TEARA maintains two reflectors for the use of the membership
- the main reflector, and the TEARA Bulletins Reflector.
Each serves a particular purpose, but the purpose of both is
to keep TEARA members informed about club meetings and other
business, as well as at serve as a forum for discussion by
members on most any topic related to radio. Both
reflectors require moderator approval to join, meaning that
anyone desiring to join must be individually approved by one
of the moderators. This approval process serves to
keep the reflectors free of spam. Once approved,
however, messages are not moderated, but they are monitored,
and all users are expected to keep posts "family safe.".
The main reflector is used for general club announcements,
items for sale or want, questions and answers, and pretty much
anything else of interest to the membership. It is
currently set up to block attachments so as to minimize the
chance of the reflector being compromised due to viruses or
the spreading of attachments containing such viruses.

As the name implies, the TEARA Bulletins reflector is used primarily to disseminate information and does allow attachments. Any member of this reflector may post information, but the focus of the list is to inform members of TEARA business, as well as general announcements from other clubs, ARRL information, and most anything else related to amateur radio.
